Basic Life Support

The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.

Target Audience: Healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physicians and assistants, dentists, nurses, medical or nursing students in training, physical, occupational and respiratory therapists.

Heartsaver

AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Target Audience: Child-care and foster-care workers, babysitters, camp counselors, teachers, coaches, not for the Healthcare professional.
